Sessions are offered in both Vena 365 and Vena Desktop* to accommodate all user types.​ Ensure to select the session most appropriate for your current use.  

*For any returning Excelerate Finance attendees who attended last year’s Certification session on Vena Desktop, please note this session has been updated and refreshed. 

Learning Objectives:  

By the end of this session, participants will be able to use Vena to:  

• Understand how to structure data, design effective reports, and create high-quality Vena-ready templates using ad-hoc reporting tools.  

• Develop the ability to link reports to the Vena data model and use powerful mapping techniques to automate updates and create rolling reports, improving efficiency and saving time.  

• Harness Vena’s powerful mapping capabilities, such as form variables/wildcard mapping, process variables and the Choose Box to simplify maintenance, accelerate updates, and adapt quickly to changing business needs.  

• Gain hands-on experience with Vena’s troubleshooting tools to identify and resolve issues, ensuring your reports are accurate, reliable, and ready for action.

Sessions are Vena platform agnostic and are inclusive for all Vena users.

By the end of this session, participants will be able to use Vena to:   

• Learn how to create accurate, actionable forecasts for FP&A use cases using Vena templates, Excel, Microsoft Copilot, and Python.  

• Use Vena's integrated tools to build multi-variable forecasts without coding, incorporating macroeconomic factors to enhance FP&A precision.  

• Utilize Vena Insights' AI-driven visualizations to identify trends, uncover anomalies, and deliver data-driven recommendations for better decision-making.

1. Prior Vena knowledge and experience is required for the specific Vena platform of your chosen session for Vena Certification: Report Architecture.
